Every email service you have ever paid for charges you the same way. Profiles. Email sends. SMS sends. Whether it is HubSpot on the lead gen side or Klaviyo and Braze on the eCommerce side, the invoice is a volume meter. Useful send or not, you pay.
Attribution is bolted on afterwards, usually to anyone who happened to receive an email, which is nearly impossible to measure honestly. Right or wrong, the industry has only ever charged for utilization. Never for outcomes.
And the email platform is not the only line item. There is the agency, the creative team, the deliverability vendor and the person who makes sure the third party provider actually works. All of them get paid to run a program you are already paying for.
AI changes the economics of every one of those roles. Creative is cheaper. Bots are approaching Turing level. The infrastructure to run all of it keeps getting cheaper. Yet advertisers pay more every year to run the same program.
We decided to change that. We are selling outcomes and taking on the risk. Cheaper infrastructure, AI engines and, most critically, the AI context layer built on Blotout make it possible. Merchants and lead to purchase advertisers have enough to worry about. This is our version of a managed service: deliver performance or die.
What you are paying for today
To run email properly, an advertiser typically signs up for five things:
- An email service
- An agency
- A creative designer, unless the agency covers it
- A third party email provider
- Someone who can make the third party provider work
And with all of that in place, nobody is asking the questions that actually move revenue:
- How consent is quietly cutting your most loyal customers out of your email program
- Whether you could ask a loyal customer to refer and earn
- Why you are paying rewards to customers you already had
- Why users are unsubscribing in droves
- How to optimize for where each user actually engages, at the 1:1 human level
- How to tie a send to an actual order, not an open
Between your agencies, services and applications, you are leaking revenue all day long, year over year. And the usual fix is to deploy more cost: an auditor, a fixer, another tool.
Blotout Loop: your CRM, run by us, paid on outcomes
Blotout Loop is your email CRM run as a managed service, with SMS, WhatsApp and Messenger following as delivery channels. We take the people already on your site and already buying from you and turn them into new buyers. That includes people who have not chosen to engage yet, and we check their privacy propensity before we reach out.
You pay on outcomes. Blotout Loop gives you four sources of buyers and one engine.
- 1P. Your own list, growing. Every visit is a chance to earn an opt-in. Once someone opts in, you can email them whenever you want.
- 3P. Engaged but not signed up yet. Profiles that are interested and active on your site but have not registered. We help them make that call, without putting your own email reputation at risk.
- Qualified 3P. The most engaged of those. They keep coming back and would welcome hearing from you directly. Once they opt in, they are on your own list.
- 2P. Your customers who refer others. A loyal customer is always happy to refer for the right incentive. We run the program, collect that CRM and nurture it to either create an opted-in lead or help them purchase, all through your existing tools.
No four vendors. No qualification, audit, agency or delivery to coordinate. Blotout Loop takes care of it. A monthly fee to run it, plus a cut of the revenue it brings in. If it brings in nothing, there is not much to pay.
Where this goes next
As the service expands, the next step is acquiring look-alike audiences: brands deciding where and how to partner with other brands where their potential buyers already spend time. After that, "name your price" and "need help with a coupon" incentives that lift conversion without driving down regular buyer intent. Then conversational channels.
SMS, Messenger and WhatsApp come online as the workflows are established. The goal is to save media dollars by getting users to engage over SMS or email instead of chasing them with remarketing on Meta or Google.
What we will not do is dump an API for email or SMS and raise prices every year without adding real value as the internet evolves.
Why now
Infrastructure is cheaper. Email and SMS are noisier. The gaps between tools are cheaper to bridge than they have ever been. And as AI replaces human agency across the stack, a vertically integrated service that does three things starts to make obvious sense:
- Protects against bots
- Understands context in near real time, instead of dumb email delivery
- Automates 1P, 2P and 3P profiles and creates new value from the same service
The cost of serving all of this keeps going down. The price you pay for it should follow.
Why a managed service
If we are on the hook for performance, it is only natural that we manage the program and prove the outcomes. That means we stop being a burden on your team: brand human-in-the-loop approvals get verified, and then we are off to the races.
Prove the outcomes, run turnkey infrastructure, respect brand marketing approvals. That is the path forward. More critically, reducing human time and cutting cost to deliver more value is simply done better as a managed service. The brand measures performance, retention and ROI, which is where its focus should have been all along.
We are bundling Blotout Loop with our Managed Signal Service, so you have one organization accountable for everything outside of market forces like Meta conversion rates or Google Ads API changes.
How to get started
